The Parish Council is running a competition looking for residents to grow the TALLEST sunflower, ideally in your front gardens for everyone to enjoy.
All entries will be in the form of photographs. The photographs must contain a reference to the height of the sunflower, ideally with a tape measure next to it.
The winning plants will be judged by measuring from the earth to the highest tip of the top petal. Seeds can be collected from ‘Tollerton Pets’ store, Burnside Grove. All entries are to be emailed to parishcouncil@tollertonparishcouncil.gov.uk along with your name and address.
The closing date to submit your entry is Sunday 28th August 2022, this gives you the chance to nurture and grow your sunflower(s) over the summer and brighten your gardens.
We aim to place the best entries on our website and across our Social Media pages, so please ensure you tell us if you do not want your picture to be shared.
