The much anticipated face lift for the parish rooms has been completed brightening up the village centre. After a through clean, our local meeting space has freshly painted brickwork, wood cladding, doors and windows.

New Parish RoomsThe works were completed using a scaffold platform to reduce disruption to user of the parish rooms.

The outside of the building now looks smarter to complement the inside which was painted in 2015.

The improvements include freshening up the tired wood cladding and improving the brown windows by using a special paint for pvc to make them blend in with the rest of the building.

The need to refresh the look of the building was identified by residents through the parish plan consultation in spring 2016 and forms part of works to improve the village centre – a top priority for residents in the parish plan.
The parish council will be looking at how to progress this further in 2017 including new signage and planting.

The parish rooms are available for hire and more information can be found on the venue hire page of the parish council website.
